MATCHBOX TWENTYのヴォーカリストによる初のソロ・アルバム。絶品の歌が聴けるので、個人的には満足度が高いのですが、半分くらいはポップスに属するような曲なので要注意。この人に興味があったら、まずMATCHBOX TWENTYのアルバム「Mad Season」を聴くのをおすすめします。ちなみに「Mad Season」は一生聴けるロックアルバムだと思ってます。

WAKING ASHLAND
エモバンドのデビューアルバム。スローなパートを挟んだり、ピアノを使ったりで、サビに向けて劇的に盛り上がる曲が多く、曲作りの上手さは新人離れしています。ポップで質の高い曲がばかりなので、多くの人に受け入れられるはず。ポストJIMMY EAT WORLDと言われてるらしいですが、よく分かります。エモが好きな人は必聴。
