ジャーマンメタルの雄。突然、何の脈絡もなくHELLOWEENを出してみました。最近、この辺のバンドはめっきり影が薄くなってるような気がしますが、一時代を築いた偉大なバンドです。

１９８８年発表の３枚目。このアルバムの邦題は「守護神伝 第２章」で、前年発表のアルバムが第１章です。今は両方合わせたものも発売になってますが、このアルバムの方が好きなので、敢えてこれを紹介します。このアルバムの特徴はスピード感と親しみやすいメロディです。組曲風の１曲目から２曲目“Eagle Fly Free”への劇的な流れや４曲目“Rise and Fall”５曲目“Dr.Stein”８曲目“I want out”など、名曲が目白押しです。聴いたことがない人は騙されたと思って、このアルバムだけでも聴いてみてください。
